We look forward to your visit to Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, for the 5th International Congress IACS 2023, which will take place from 25 to 27 October 2023.
Currently, IACS has become a registered and trusted brand in the national and international domain, with an average of 800 participants, speakers and representatives from various countries. We count on the presence of renowned national and international specialists inserted in a high quality scientific program composed of conferences, panels, workshops, meeting of experts and networking sessions, among other modalities.
ABOUT
IACS 2023 is the 5th international congress on “Challenges and Innovation in Infection Control” for hospital healthcare professionals (Doctors, Nurses, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technicians, Senior Health Technicians, Hospital Administrators, Pharmacists, Microbiologists, among others ) which will take place from the 25th to the 27th of October.
Exploring new challenges in approaching infection control through the multidisciplinary sharing of knowledge and experience in the prevention and control of HAIs and antibiotic resistance, combined with technological and analytical innovation.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, for the 5th International Congress “Infection Associated with Health Care (IACS)”, which will be held from 25 to 27 October 2023.
Organized by the Escola Superior de Saúde Norte da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa (ESSNorteCVP) and Centro Hospitalar Entre Douro e Vouga (CHEDV E.P.E.), the IACS was conceived with the objective of promoting the multidisciplinary sharing of knowledge and experiences in the prevention and control of Associated Infections for Health Care (HACI) and antibiotic resistance. For this, we will count on the presence of renowned national and international specialists.
Several important topics will be addressed, namely: Hand Hygiene, Environmental Hygiene Prevention and Infection Control in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, Antimicrobial Resistance, Pneumonia Associated with Health Care, Training in Infection Control, Use of Information Systems at IACS, among others.
