We look forward to welcoming you back to Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, for the 6th IACS International Congress 2024, which will take place from 23 to 25 October 2024.
Today, IACS has become a trusted and recognized brand in the national and international domain, with an average of 800 participants, speakers and representatives from several countries. We are counting on the presence of renowned national and international experts as part of a high-quality scientific programme consisting of conferences, panels, workshops, expert meetings and networking sessions, among other modalities.

ABOUT

IACS 2024 is the 6th international congress on “Challenges and Innovation in Infection Control” for hospital healthcare professionals (Doctors, Nurses, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technicians, Senior Healthcare Technicians, Hospital Administrators, Pharmacists, Microbiologists, among others) which will take place from October 23rd to 25th.

Explore new challenges in the approach to infection control through the multidisciplinary sharing of knowledge and experiences in the prevention and control of HAIs and antibiotic resistance, combined with technological and analytical innovation.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, for the 6th International Congress on Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) to be held from 23 to 25 October 2024. Organised by the Escola Superior de Saúde Norte da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa (ESSNorteCVP) and the Centro Hospitalar Entre Douro e Vouga (CHEDV E.P.E.), the IACS was conceived with the aim of promoting the multidisciplinary sharing of knowledge and experiences in the prevention and control of Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) and antibiotic resistance. To this end, we will count on the presence of renowned national and international experts, included in a high-quality scientific programme.
